Binder Jetting is one of the earliest forms of 3D printing technology
3D Printing Binder Jetting Printers work on the same concept as a normal inkjet printer, however, instead of bringing through a new piece of paper each time,it sweeps forward a new layer of gypsum resin powder printing a binder ink on top of the previous layer, causing them to bond. Once the print is complete, drying time is required and the print chamber increases in temperature to assist with this. Using a vacuum system to remove the excess powder, the part is removed from the chamber for further cleaning and for following post process procedures.
